Victoria Right to Life Society has been dissolved. Last year, as directed by votes by its own board and by the annual general meetings in 2010 and 2011, the society first secured from the Canada Revenue Agency the revocation of its charity status, and then from the British Columbia registrar of societies, the dissolution of the society itself. This website will disappear by the end of January.The board of the society at dissolution expressed its gratitude to all its members over the years who fought the good fight for life.
Many people associated with that movement and newcomers have formed a new society, Choose Life Victoria with a mandate to witness publicly, educate, and work for co-operation among Victoria’s pro-life organizations.
Choose Life Victoria has already held Victoria’s first ever . 40 Days for Life vigil outside Victoria’s abortion clinic. A second is planned for the spring. The pro-abortion activists have already suggested they will counter-demonstrate. chooselifevictoria@gmail.com. It has a mailing address:

Victoria Right to Life Society is a non-profit society dedicated to the protection of human life from the moment of conception to natural death.
We believe in the sanctity of life and our mission is to keep our members, youth, and public informed and educated through various displays, activities and functions.
Our main activities for the year include a fund raising banquet usually held in the spring, Walk for Life, which is held in early summer, and Life Chain, always held on the first Sunday in October.
The society also helps in increasing awareness of other community groups that support our objectives and goals. These include groups and societies that are helping young women in crisis pregnancy and are on the front lines of saving lives.
